Terms of Service

Effective date: May 09, 2025

Welcome to Nexus, a platform that facilitates payments between freelancers and their clients. By accessing or using our website (nexuspayhub.com) and related services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our platform.

1. Overview of Services Nexus Pay Hub acts as a U.S.-based intermediary to streamline international payment processing on behalf of freelancers. We do not offer escrow services, nor are we a licensed financial institution. Payments are processed through third-party providers such as Stripe, Wise, and PayPal.

2. User Roles

  • Freelancers use our platform to create and send invoices to clients.
  • Clients receive and pay those invoices through the provided payment links.

3. Account Registration All users must provide accurate and complete information during registration. One user per account is allowed. Sharing login credentials or account access is prohibited.

4. Member ID and Data Handling We use Memberstack to associate invoices with specific freelancer accounts via a Member ID. All invoice data, including Member ID references, are stored in Airtable and used strictly for service facilitation.

5. Fees and Charges Nexus charges a service fee (e.g., 8%) on each transaction. This fee may be deducted before the freelancer receives payment. You will also be subject to any additional charges from Stripe, PayPal, or Wise.

6. Taxes Freelancers are responsible for reporting and paying applicable taxes in their jurisdiction. Nexus does not withhold or remit taxes on behalf of freelancers or clients.

7. Refunds and Disputes All payments processed through Nexus are final and non-refundable. By using our services, you waive your right to file disputes or chargebacks for completed payments. Nexus is not liable for client-freelancer disagreements.

8. Third-Party Services Our platform integrates with third-party applications (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Airtable). You agree to their terms of service and privacy policies in addition to ours.

9. User Conduct You may not use our services to:

  • Engage in fraud or misrepresentation
  • Violate laws or third-party rights
  • Exploit system vulnerabilities

10. Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion, particularly in cases of misuse or policy violations.

11. Limitation of Liability Nexus is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform, including delays in payment, data issues, or service interruptions.

12. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Contact If you have any questions about these terms, contact us at service@nexuspayhub.com.

By using Nexus Pay Hub, you acknowledge and accept these Terms of Service in full.
